and Water Officiated SEDA Malaysia’s New Branch Office in Sabah and Announced
the Implementation of Feed-in Tariff in Sabah and Labuan
Kota Kinabalu, Tuesday (22 April 2014): YB Datuk Seri
Panglima Dr. Maximus Johnity Ongkili, Minister of Energy, Green Technology and
Water (KeTTHA) officiated SEDA Malaysia’s new branch office this afternoon.
Located in Likas Square Commercial Centre, Jalan Istiadat, Kota Kinabalu,
it is the first energy efficiency retrofitted Government’s office in Sabah and
is now known as SEDA Malaysia’s Low Energy Office (SEDA LEO). The office with a
floor space of 1,182 square feet office has the potential of achieving more
than 40 % energy savings on lighting and equipment compared to conventional
air-conditioned office building in Malaysia of the same size.

2014年1月1日开始，Sabah和Labuan居民将会和西马居民一样，凡用电源量超过300kWh@每月电费超过RM69 和RM77为马来西亚半岛，需要额外支付1.6%附加费，做为再生能源的基金
目前，SEDA已经在Kota Kinabalu, Sabah 设立分行。
根据Minister
of Energy, Green Technology and Water 在4月22日的宣布，2MW固打电力收购制度会特别留给Sabah和Labuan个人投资者申请作为太阳能- Solar PV发展。
Sabah与Labuan太阳能投资者可以在5月2日7am-2pm，通过e-FiT online system提出申请。
同日4pm，e-FiT online system将会开放给Sabah，Labuan和西马人民作为申请再生能源计划发展-PV
solar, biomass, biogas, and small hydro。
